COMPETITION PROGRAMS
Our competition dance programs are a great place to take your training to the next level while finding a community of friends who share your passion for dance. They require disciplined, hardworking dancers who are willing to devote more time to improving their skills, are interested in exploring a range of dance styles, and are looking for more performance opportunities beyond recital.

Company
Our nationally ranked Dance Company is an elite competitive program for dedicated dancers who are ready for pre-professional training. The Company Team builds confidence, performing skills, and teamwork while encouraging self-motivation and resilience. Company is a full commitment sport, and dancers/parents will need to sign an agreement prior. These dancers will attend 1-2 Conventions a year, and compete a total of 4 times. Every other year Company attends National Competition in the summer.

YAGP Track
Our YAGP Track is an optional competitive pathway for our Company. These dancers commit to two additional Ballet Classes over the Company requirement, as well as a Pointe/ Pre-Pointe Class. These dancers will still attend 1-2 Conventions a year, but will compete a total of 5 times. This includes the Regional YAGP Competition they will attend with their Classical Variation/ Contemporary Solo. Additional Ensemble groups may attend as well.

Red Team
Our Red Team is a competitive and performance program for dancers who want more performance opportunities on stage over our Recreational Program. This is a Part-Time Competition Team where dancers can still receive high-quality training, while still having time for extra curriculars. These dancers will compete a total of 2 times, and have fewer competition dances than Company. This allows Red Team dancers to experience competition dance without the larger commitment! This Team builds self-confidence, as well as performance skills, all while cherishing teamwork at the heart.

Class Requirements
Company:
Jazz, Ballet, Acro, Contemporary, and styles that dancer is cast in/ additional classes the RDC staff decides would benefit dancer & keep them on level.
Red Team:
Jazz, Ballet, Acro, Hip Hop, & Tap. Contemporary may be required if dancer is cast in a contemporary piece/ the staff decides it would benefit dancer & keep them on level.

Your dancer will only need to attend one day of auditions. Your individual dancer's time slot will be given the week of audition

Dancers audition with a ballet barre warm up & learn combinations in the styles of dance our studio will be competing in the upcoming dance season
